As well as in the past years MEDICA/COMPAMED, the worlds largest Medical Exhibition was the central market platform for the medical engineering branche in 2009 again.
livetec participated and introduced herself with several innovations and services for her projects:
  • wireless & production: how to test the certified wireless products?
  • new products: PowerTwin 21 - modular lasersystem
  • wLEAN: the newest, scalable Lowest Power Wireless Platform
  • IVAM: special "implants and wireless technique" of the livetec GmbH (lecture):   Intelligent Implants with Telemetry for Osteosynthesis

livetec expands its development and manufacturing size
The ongoing enhancement of engineering services and products in 2009 led to more staff and more premises. We took over our bachelor student from the Baden-Wuerttemberg Cooperative State University in Loerrach and engaged two more engineers from this university. The curriculum combines practical training at livetec and university education, aiming to provide both practice-orientated and academic-based theoretical knowledge.
The expansion of premises was therefore necessary. About 30% more space is now available to realize our current and future projects as wireless technologies, pacemaker-, implant- and laser know-how, engineering services and production.
We are happy about the cooperation with local (the Black Forest) companies to support wireless- and medical projects.

Pace T10 / Pace T20 Pacemakers go abroad
MAQUET's temporary pacemakers designed by livetec got more approvals world wide.
The system got the certification for China, India and Brazil - Russia and Canada (incl. CSA) are still in process.

PowerTwin 21 enters production
The powerful laser system PowerTwin 21 (used eg. for physiotherapy) enters the production department after development and medical certification. The innovative benefits of this system are the high power emission in relation to the treated surface and the "One-Click"-System to change the laser shower into a laser comb without loss of power.
